The important thing to know is that the inaugural New York City release takes place at the awesome Manhattan bookstore, Idlewild, come September 14. You should be there if you can be there; I promise far more than a mere reading.

More dates to follow — including cities as far-flung as Santa Fe, Austin, Portland and, er, Boston — so fear not if you, like, have a job, and can’t be in NYC for the release.

First, a Q&A in the marvellous cycling magazine Momentum. Then, a splendid and thoughtful review in comics blog Jo Blo. Followed by a bird’s eye overview in Comics & Gaming Monthly. (Yes, comics readers and gamers really do hang together. They’re friggin tight, like creative non-fiction readers and documentary watchers. Or literary fiction readers and, and…um…)

For those of you in Canada missing the media related to the Igor Kenk graphic novel, here’s a fix: Richard Poplak and super producer Alex Jansen on CBC’s QTV. I look bald and manic; Jansen looks merely psychotic. Enjoy.
